 -BUSINESS INFORMATICS

 -INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

 -MARKETING MANAGEMENT

 -MECHATRONICS

 -COMPUTER ENGINEERING

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING  Industrial engineers combine technical expertise and economic judgment together. It is not just an addition of information on branches of technology and methodological expertise in economics, but an integrated thinking in the analysis of problems and in solving tasks in industry and economy.

Industrial engineers are intended to create all connections between the various specific working and thinking of scientists, engineers on specific disciplines, computer scientists, economists, lawyers and other specialists.

The need for a universal professional image result from the division of labour processes of industry, trade and service. The majority of specializations practice a lack of understanding and sensitivity for complex operations, which requires integration of thinking on technical language with commercial categories. This gap should be counterbalanced by industrial engineers.

BUSINESS INFORMATICS Major of Siegen University Program at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University prepares future graduates capable of working with all types of social and economic data, with regard to their gathering, processing, control and the development of information systems. The graduates will be able to implement all the data into financial systems for the analysis of achieved results in social and finance areas.

The aim of Faculty is to ensure that all the students improve their learning in social and economic strategies, decision making and forecasting skills quickly, and reach their learning goals.  The students are provided with individual attention and support throughout the courses to ensure that they progress rapidly and achieve their learning objectives.

The strategic goal of the Faculty is to build up a leading research and teaching establishment, which meets the needs of education. And it is provided on the bases of Siegen University education which comparable to leading world institutions.

Business Informatics Major of Siegen University Program at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University study is based on a credit system which is compatible with the European standard. The faculty offers the chance to study subjects in the English language. Bachelor’s study takes place over four years. During each year students are evaluated in terms of the number of earned credits. Bachelor study ends with the defence of a final work and graduates obtain a Bachelor’s degree. The study programs can be taken only as a full-time course and improve the student's career opportunities.

Pprogram provides in-depth knowledge and skills required to evaluate, implement, use and manage information systems in organizations. The program produces graduates with solid business background who understand the role of information systems in improving efficiency and effectiveness of organizations; and who are able to bridge the gap between business and information technology area.

- gain knowledge in business processes and associated work practices, requirements and information needs

- acquire theoretical knowledge to reflect critically on professional practice in the areas of business analysis, change management and implementation, project management and business strategy, and the planning of information systems

- analyze and evaluate complex problems in a range of different information systems situations

- learn skills to communicate and interpret information systems programs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Business informatics is concerned with the development and deployment of IT and communications technology-based solutions to resolve business problems, and with the analysis and assessment of the suitability of new information technologies for application in practical business environments. Business informatics places less emphasis on the acquisition of pure hardware and programming expertise and allows students to focus more on developing their abilities to create IT-based solutions and to work collaboratively to implement solutions in company and corporate environments. In addition to introducing students to the fundamentals of information processing, bachelor program in business informatics aims to teach students the analytical skills required to solve problems in business economics.

The interdisciplinary character of business informatics provides students with numerous options to pursue specialist interests during their degree studies and in their subsequent careers.

 MECHATRONICS

Mechatronics which is also called mechatronic engineering, is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems, and includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, systems, control, telecommunications, and product engineering. The intention of mechatronics is to produce a design solution that unifies each of these various subfields. A bachelor's degree program in mechatronic engineering generally takes four years to complete. Students spend their first two years studying math, science, introductory engineering, and other general education requirements. The next two years focus on theoretical and scientific approaches. Core courses may include robotics, robot electronics, mechatronic components, automation technology, production technology and processes, modeling and simulation, digital factory technologies, etc. Students may be required to complete a mechatronic engineering design any project to graduate from this program.

The objectives of the Program are:

 -         to provide graduate students with a high quality education to be competent mechatronic engineers who are knowledgeable, skillful and able to solve complex mechatronics engineering problems.

 -         to prepare students with the ability for having well practice at robotics, mechatronics and related industries, but also being effective engineers with leadership qualities and ethics.

 Learning outcomes of the Program:
